Lot Technician (Lot Tech)

Job Description

Join us as a Lot Technician (Lot Tech) where you'll be responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle lot and ensuring each vehicle is prepared for delivery. This role involves working closely with other teams and performing basic maintenance tasks to uphold our dealership's standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot clean and visually appealing.
• Inspect vehicles for any damages and report findings immediately.
• Prepare cars for delivery by cleaning and ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Assist in managing the flow of vehicles in and out of the lot.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory.
• Transport vehicles as needed within the dealership premises.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles in the lot.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Help create a welcoming environment for customers visiting the lot.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Experience in automotive detailing or related roles is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Vehicle inspection
• Basic maintenance tasks

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Basic mechanical knowledge: Understanding of vehicle mechanics is advantageous.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles: Ensuring all vehicle types can be managed during lot operations.
