Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Indianapolis team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense and manage medications for diverse patient populations.
  • Evaluate patient medication therapies and suggest alternatives when necessary.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and propose adjustments to medication plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate healthcare staff and patients on emerging therapies.
  • Lead medication safety initiatives within the pharmacy department.
  • Participate in research projects related to pharmaceutical care.
  • Utilize pharmacy management software for order processing.
  • Provide mentorship to pharmacy interns and technicians.
  • Engage with patients through health screenings and wellness programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
Experience
  • 3-5 years of pharmacy experience in a clinical setting
