Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Credentialing Coordinator to ensure that healthcare professionals and facilities comply with accreditation and licensure requirements. This role involves maintaining accurate records, communicating with providers and insurance companies, and managing the credentialing process efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for all providers, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Complete and submit provider applications and follow up on any outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files and records.
  • Ensure timely completion of all provider enrollment activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve provider issues and grievances.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
  • Stay informed of credentialing trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or business administration
  • Certification in healthcare credentialing is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in provider enrollment and credentialing processes
