Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work.
• Assist with surface preparation, including caulking and taping.
• Execute painting and finishing tasks to high standards.
• Review and interpret blueprints for upcoming projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Document daily progress and challenges encountered.
• Work collaboratively with other trades on job sites.
• Monitor paint drying times and make necessary adjustments.
• Implement eco-friendly painting practices whenever possible.
• Participate in continued training and development programs.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential painting

Advantageous

• Experience in decorative finishes: Skilled in creating decorative painting finishes such as faux finishes.
