Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our San Diego team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structural analysis and design, and a passion for innovative building solutions. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of structures while collaborating with architects and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze complex structural models using software.
• Prepare technical reports and provide engineering advice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all designs.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and project bids.
• Participate in meetings to resolve project-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Concrete Design

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Leadership experience: Proven experience in leading project teams and mentoring engineers.
