Job Description

We are seeking motivated Bulb Farmworkers to join our team. Your role will encompass various tasks related to bulb cultivation, maintenance, and overall farm operations. Physical endurance and a willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planting, cultivating, and harvesting bulbs.
• Execute routine maintenance on nursery equipment.
• Assist in ensuring proper lighting, soil, and temperature conditions.
• Safely handle fungicides and pesticides when necessary.
• Keep records of planting schedules and crop yields.
• Contribute to the setup and management of greenhouse environments.
• Work on physical tasks that involve heavy lifting and extended periods outdoors.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant agricultural training is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in bulb farming or similar roles is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with irrigation systems
• Basic understanding of fertilization processes

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina
• Communication

Advantageous

• Experiential knowledge of pest management: Ability to recognize and manage pest threats to crops.
• Experience operating farm machinery: Experience with tractors or other heavy equipment preferred.
