Job Description

Seeking a skilled Financial Planner to analyze client financial situations and provide actionable advice to help them maximize their investments. You will collaborate with other advisors to develop financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create robust actuarial models based on historical data.
• Work closely with underwriting teams to evaluate risk profiles.
• Review actuarial reports for accuracy and clarity.
• Assist in the design of new insurance products with appropriate risk controls.
• Conduct peer reviews of models to ensure quality and compliance.
• Act as a subject matter expert on actuarial principles in client meetings and presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Statistics
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar actuarial role

Technical Skills

• SAS
• Tableau

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA)
• Certified Actuary

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in team leadership or mentorship: Ability to lead projects and mentor junior actuaries.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools: Experience with various data analytics software tools is a plus.
