Job Description

We are seeking a Machinist Helper who will assist in the production of high-quality machined parts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be able to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the setup processes of machining equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Regularly inspect equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Document and report any discrepancies in production quality.
• Contribute to machine maintenance schedules.
• Work under the guidance of senior machinists to develop skills.
• Engage in ongoing training and development activities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school training in machining preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with CNC machines
• Experience with inspection equipment such as micrometers and gauges

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented mindset

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles: Experience implementing Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency.
• Technical certifications in machining: Any relevant certifications that may enhance candidate qualifications.
