Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Jig Boring Machine Setup Operator. Your role will focus on operating jig boring machines for precision component production, where adherence to specifications and quality standards is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs, following job specifications.
• Monitor machine operation, adjusting controls for optimal performance.
• Train junior operators on machine setup and operation.
• Perform routine machine calibrations and adjustments.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical training in machining operations preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Certification in machining processes
• Safety certification in industrial operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC machine operation: Advanced skills in operating CNC machinery for automated manufacturing.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge in principles that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
