Job Description

As a Physical Therapist at Allied Health Institute, you will apply your specialized knowledge in physical therapy to aid patients in their recovery process. This role involves evaluating injuries and conditions, designing treatment plans, and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' mobility, strength, and pain throughout the therapy process.
• Design and deliver customized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and techniques to improve patients’ physical function and reduce pain.
• Track and document the effectiveness of treatment to provide meaningful reports to referring physicians.
• Advise on equipment and prosthetics that may benefit patient recovery.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
• Offer mentorship and training to junior therapists and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
• State licensure for Physical Therapy practice

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
