Ophthalmologist, Except Pediatric

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to join our esteemed medical team. In this role, you will diagnose and treat various eye conditions, perform surgeries, and provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results for effective treatment planning.
• Consult with patients to discuss symptoms, history, and treatment options.
• Work with optometrists and surgical teams to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize EHR software for patient documentation and scheduling.
• Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills.
• Conduct research and contribute to clinical trials where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• MD or DO with specialized training in ophthalmology

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in ophthalmic practices.

Technical Skills

• Surgical Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Fellowship in Ophthalmology

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Teaching: Ability to educate and mentor medical students and residents.
• Research Publication: Experience in conducting research and publishing findings.
