Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating various machines that cut and slice materials to meet production specifications. This role involves monitoring machine operations, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines for production runs and ensure they are calibrated correctly.
• Inspect materials before and after processing to ensure quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities on the production line.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
• Create and maintain machine operation logs.
• Work collaboratively with other operators to achieve production goals.
• Implement safety standards and maintain clean workspaces.
• Conduct inventory checks on cutting materials to avoid shortages.
• Report any discrepancies in production output immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in manufacturing technology is an asset

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a production environment preferred

Languages
