The ICU Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and education to the ICU nursing staff, as well as collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

Facilitate professional development and education for nursing staff.
Work with healthcare teams to refine clinical protocols and procedures.
Analyze data to assess patient outcomes and inform practices.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff and medical teams to foster communication.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
Current RN license in Illinois
