Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across various workplaces. You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, and implement safety measures to protect employees and the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Work with teams to develop hazard communication programs.
• Evaluate workplace ergonomics and recommend adjustments.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
• Maintain communication with regulatory agencies.
• Offer solutions for employee concerns regarding health and safety.
• Teach workshops on relevant health topics to promote awareness.
• Engage in community outreach to enhance public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant science or engineering field
• A Master's degree in Public Health or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in occupational health and safety
