Job Description

The Event AV Operator will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment at various events and venues. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in handling technical equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test all AV equipment for events to ensure functionality.
• Actively monitor and adjust audio levels and visuals during events to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize disruptions during live performances.
• Maintain a log of all equipment used and any issues encountered.
• Engage with clients post-event to obtain feedback and improve services.
• Research and recommend new AV technologies for potential use.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies when handling AV equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Audio-Visual Technology or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an AV technician role.

Technical Skills

• Lighting Setup and Management
• Live Streaming Software (e.g. OBS Studio)

Soft Skills

• Flexibility
• Customer Service Orientation

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with event management and planning: Background in planning and executing successful events.
• Knowledge of network configuration for AV systems: Understanding of network configurations to support AV setups.
