Job Description

As a Firefighter in the City Fire Department, you will play a crucial role in protecting lives and property from fire and other emergencies. Your dedication and skills will ensure timely response to incidents, providing medical assistance, and educating the public about fire safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency alarms with urgency and professionalism
• Conduct thorough fire inspections and compliance checks
• Provide first aid and CPR to those in need during emergencies
• Train junior firefighters and assist in onboarding processes
• Promote fire safety education within the community
• Engage in routine maintenance and testing of firefighting equipment
• Prepare and participate in community outreach programs
• Document all activities and submit reports to supervisors
• Assist in disaster preparedness training for the community
• Work with team members to conduct drills and simulate emergency scenarios

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Relevant experience in emergency response is a plus.
