Job Description

We are seeking an empathetic and non-judgmental Clergy member to provide spiritual guidance and support to our diverse community. The ideal candidate should possess excellent listening skills and the ability to create a safe space for individuals to express their thoughts and feelings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual services on a regular basis and encourage community involvement.
• Provide guidance on ethical issues and personal decisions.
• Develop resources and materials for spiritual education.
• Engage with community members to understand their needs and support them.
• Foster interfaith collaboration and dialogue.
• Work with the leadership team to enhance community programs.
• Promote mental health wellness and support among congregants.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
• Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach or spiritual leadership

Technical Skills

• Crisis Intervention
• Event Coordination

Soft Skills

• Active Listening
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• National Certified Counselor
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Mandarin: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in community organizing: Background in mobilizing community resources and support.
• Training in mental health awareness: Workshops or courses related to mental health advocacy.
