Training and Development Specialist

Job Description

As a Training and Development Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and delivering effective training programs in cybersecurity. You'll collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging instructional materials that enhance learning experiences for a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging instructional content for diverse audiences.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Design e-learning modules to facilitate remote learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with the IT department to implement learning management systems effectively.
• Provide ongoing support to trainees post-training to reinforce learning.
• Work on special projects as assigned related to instructional design.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to gather insights for training improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in instructional design or related field

Technical Skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Familiarity with authoring tools like Articulate or Captivate

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical thinking skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Project Management: Preferred certification such as PMP or similar.
• Experience with blended learning solutions: Familiarity with integrating online and in-person training methods.
