Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Machinist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and programming lathes with a keen focus on precision and quality. The Lathe Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to fabricate parts according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes as per production schedules.
  • Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Document machining processes and maintain logs of work completed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to machinery setup, operation, and output quality.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on production issues or machinery needs.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification or apprenticeship in machining preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lathe Machinist
