Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security posture and protect our systems from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network security, risk management, and incident response, and will work collaboratively with our IT and development teams to implement security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and resolutions.
• Participate in security awareness programs and simulations.
• Collaborate with external vendors for security assessments and solutions.
• Build a culture of security awareness among employees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity

• Firewall Management
• Intrusion Detection Systems

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in scripting languages: Ability to automate security processes using scripting languages like Python.
