Lens Mold Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lens Mold Setter for our manufacturing facility. The Lens Mold Setter is responsible for setting up and maintaining lens molds for production, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds and materials for production schedules.
• Monitor and evaluate production performance, implementing improvements where needed.
• Work closely with the production team to streamline processes.
• Conduct inspections to identify defects and ensure high-quality output.
• Document all activities and report any discrepancies.
• Provide feedback on production strategies and mold performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production area.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an optical manufacturing role.

Technical Skills

• Experience with CNC machinery
• Familiarity with quality control procedures

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Mold Setting Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in ISO Quality Management: Understanding of ISO standards and practices in manufacturing.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in mold setups.
