Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and experiments focused on developing sustainable materials.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to source the best quality materials.
  • Evaluate the impact of material changes on overall product performance.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses for new material recommendations.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Facilitate communication between departments regarding new material introductions.
  • Assist in the development of prototypes to test material performance.
  • Report on material testing outcomes and suggest actionable insights.
  • Build partnerships with academic institutions for collaborative research.
  • Participate in conferences to stay updated in the field of materials science.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar field
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in relevant field is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials development
