Job Description

As the Lead Sewage Plant Operator, you will manage the daily operations of our sewage treatment plant, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Your leadership will enhance our team dynamics and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and ensure efficient sewage treatment at the facility.
  • Supervise operation staff to maintain safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant operations.
  • Develop training programs for new operators.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery.
  • Compile reports regarding operational performance and compliance.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures.
  • Advise on upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize wastewater treatment processes.
  • Maintain communication with local stakeholders and the community.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications relevant to sewage treatment operations
Experience
  • Five years of supervisory experience in wastewater operations
