Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Security Workers, you will be at the forefront of security operations, leading a dedicated team to ensure a safe environment. Your responsibilities will include supervising security personnel, conducting regular safety inspections, and responding promptly to incidents. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining communication with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of security personnel and ensure their effectiveness.
  • Implement security measures and conduct investigations into incidents.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for security team members.
  • Evaluate security systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding security issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Facilitate incident debriefs to analyze performance and improve operations.
  • Foster a culture of safety and security within the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid security license or certification is required
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
Experience
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role in security
