Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Launch and Recovery Officer to oversee and manage the operation of catapult systems and arresting gear on aircraft carriers. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient launch and recovery of aircraft during flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the launch and recovery operations on aircraft carriers.
• Ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and effectively.
• Develop protocols for training and safety measures for crew members.
• Conduct performance assessments of the launch and recovery systems.
• Report any discrepancies and take corrective actions promptly.
• Liaise with flight deck management to synchronize operations.
• Ensure the team complies with all aerospace safety standards.
• Conduct briefing sessions with crew to review operational protocols.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
• Assist in the analysis of data to optimize performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Additional certifications in relevant fields are preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace operations, particularly with catapult systems.
