Job Description

As a Pediatric Surgeon, you will take on the crucial role of providing surgical care to children suffering from heart-related ailments. Responsibilities

  • Administer pre-operative assessments and consultations for pediatric patients.
  • Utilize advanced surgical techniques to perform operations safely.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in pediatric surgery.
  • Work alongside nurses and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Evaluate and interpret diagnostic imaging and test results.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
  • Document all patient interactions and surgical procedures accurately.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and training opportunities.
  • Convene with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
  • Foster a supportive and educational environment for resident training.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of pediatric surgical fellowship
Experience
  • 5+ years of surgical experience, with a focus on pediatric cardiac cases.
