Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to support our oral surgeons in providing exceptional surgical care. You will play a vital role in patient preparation, assisting during procedures, and ensuring the comfort of our patients.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical history and obtaining consent.
Ensure readiness of surgical instruments and materials.
Assist in administering local anesthesia as instructed by the surgeon.
Deliver compassionate care to enhance patient comfort.
Maintain cleanliness in the surgical area and adhere to safety standards.
Perform follow-up calls to patients post-surgery to ensure recovery.
Assist in training new assistants and interns.
Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and patient feedback.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
Experience
1+ years experience in a dental or surgical setting preferred.
