Job Description

As a Fire Captain, you will be responsible for leading our firefighting team in emergency situations and ensuring operational readiness. Your role will involve training personnel, conducting inspections, and fostering a culture of safety and preparedness within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the firefighting unit.
  • Provide mentorship and support to firefighters.
  • Collaborate with the Fire Chief for strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and participate in training drills and simulations.
  • Maintain records of incidents and equipment inspections.
  • Interact with community organizations to enhance fire safety awareness.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years in firefighting with leadership roles.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
