Job Description

We're looking for skilled Rolling Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team in Detroit. In this role, you'll operate and maintain precision machines for polishing metal and plastic components. Attention to detail is paramount as you ensure every piece meets stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all polishing machines are calibrated and functioning within set parameters.
• Perform quality control audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare daily reports on production output and materials used.
• Troubleshoot more complex issues with polishing machines as they arise.
• Support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Communicate effectively with quality assurance staff regarding product specifications.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all workplace safety procedures.
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of polishing materials.
• Provide feedback on machine performance and potential improvements.
• Work in a team-oriented atmosphere ensuring smooth production flow.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in machining or manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in polishing or related field
