Job Description

As a Hybrid Corn Breeder, you will play a critical role in developing new hybrid corn varieties tailored to market needs and aligned with our breeding goals. Your expertise will help ensure our seeds meet performance expectations in diverse growing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed plans for field trials, including selection of sites and data collection methods.
• Utilize GIS and statistical software to analyze breeding data efficiently.
• Establish quality control standards for breeding processes.
• Work with marketing teams to develop product messaging based on technical data.
• Train and mentor junior staff in breeding methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align breeding goals with market demand.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations affecting breeding programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Genetics, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corn breeding.
