Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Ships Equipment Engineer who will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems aboard marine vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vessel equipment regularly for safety and functionality.
  • Carry out necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on marine systems.
  • Work closely with crew to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for maintenance and repairs.
  • Report and resolve equipment failures timely and effectively.
  • Facilitate training sessions for crew on maintenance practices.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate with other engineers to enhance project outcomes.
  • Manage the procurement process for necessary equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in marine engineering or naval architecture
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD
