Critical Care Nurse (CCN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse (CCN) to provide specialized care to critically ill patients. This role requires exceptional clinical skills, the ability to quickly adapt to change, and a compassionate approach to patient care in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient health and develop individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and administer life-saving interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Support the onboarding and training of new nursing staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Current and valid Nursing license

Experience

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred.

• Ventilator Management

Certifications

• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a Magnet-designated hospital: Exposure to high standards of nursing practices.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Valuable for working with pediatric critical care patients.
