We are seeking a dedicated Reeler to operate and maintain film reels at our thriving production studio. The ideal candidate will possess experience in working with film, ensuring reels are properly wound and ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate film winding and drawing out machines.
• Manage loading and unloading of film reels for production.
• Monitor film quality during processing and address issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production.
• Document operating procedures and maintenance logs.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in production technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Film technical knowledge
• Mechanical troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with color grading software: Working knowledge of color correction tools is beneficial.
