As a Biomedical Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring that medical equipment operates effectively and safely. Your responsibilities will include maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a range of medical devices, working closely with healthcare professionals to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Installs and performs maintenance on medical diagnostic equipment.
• Keeps detailed records of service and maintenance activities.
• Responds to service calls to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Ensures that all instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Aids in compliance audits and inspections.
• Works with inventory management systems to maintain equipment supplies.
• Provides training and support for new biomedical technicians.
• Develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules.
• Utilizes data analysis software for equipment performance tracking.
• Engages in continuous professional development to enhance technical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting
