Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shingle Grader to join our team. The shingle grader will be responsible for assessing the quality of shingles and ensuring they meet our strict standards for durability, appearance, and performance. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to make accurate judgments regarding the quality of shingles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of shingles to assess quality and adherence to specifications.
• Grade shingles based on visual and tactile criteria, ensuring they meet defined standards.
• Identify and record any defects or irregularities found during inspections.
• Collaborate with production staff to address quality concerns and implement necessary improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of grading results and inspection reports.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grading area.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product specifications and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in shingle grading or related field preferred.

Languages

Advantageous
