Job Description

The Mill Platform Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the mill platform, ensuring the efficiency, productivity, and safety of all workers and equipment. This role requires strong leadership and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily mill platform operations and manage personnel effectively.
  • Create and maintain operating procedures to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of safety practices and equipment condition.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor production metrics and report results to upper management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement among the workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning to improve production capabilities.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the mill platform.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure consistent operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
