Job Description
Join our team as a Summer Camp Instructor! You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and supervising various activities, ensuring a fun and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
Responsibilities
Lead various recreational and educational activities for campers
Monitor camper behavior and ensure guidelines are followed
Facilitate team-building exercises and promote inclusivity
Work collaboratively with other camp staff to enhance the camp experience
Report any safety issues or concerns to the Camp Director
Maintain open communication with parents regarding camper progress and safety
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting
Technical Skills
First Aid and CPR certification
Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills
Team collaboration
Certifications
Lifeguarding certification (preferred)
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience in leading group activities: Proven track record of organizing and leading group events or educational workshops.
Specialized skills in sports, arts, or music: Skills in specific areas that can enrich the campers' experience such as conducting art or music classes.
