Job Description

As a Postsecondary Career and Technical Education Teacher, you will guide students through hands-on learning experiences in subjects such as engineering, health sciences, culinary arts, and business management. Your role includes creating engaging lesson plans and evaluating student performance to foster career readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Create lesson plans that incorporate current CTE curriculum standards.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for real-world applications.
  • Monitor and assess student learning outcomes and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Engage with industry professionals to stay informed about evolving job market needs.
  • Support student recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Contribute to program development and accreditation processes.
  • Participate in community outreach to enhance the school's CTE programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in CTE instruction or relevant industry
