Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Agricultural Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining fertilizer spreading equipment. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in fertilizer application techniques and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the optimal setting of equipment for various types of fertilizer applications.
• Conduct routine inspections on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Keep detailed logs of operations and report any issues to the Operations Manager.
• Train new staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Assist with other agricultural tasks as needed, including planting and harvesting when applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Previous training in agricultural science or machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• Experience with GPS technology in agricultural applications is a plus.
