Job Description

As a Harnessmaker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality harnesses used in equestrian sports. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and expertise in various materials and stitching techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and attach components to create high-quality harnesses.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in training new team members on harness making techniques.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss objectives and performance.
  • Use specialized equipment such as leather cutting machines and sewing machines efficiently.
  • Stay updated on best practices in harness making and related technologies.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancements relevant to the craft.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training or apprenticeship in harness making preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in harness making or a related field
