Welder Fabricator

Job Description

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be pivotal in joining metal parts to create finished products in our fabrication team. You will use various welding techniques and must have a solid understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand welding specifications for each project.
• Calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Rework and repair components when necessary based on quality checks.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Keep detailed records of materials used and fabrication processes.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on safety and quality in all operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of welding in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Stick Welding
• Welding Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Dependability

Certifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Pipe fitting experience: Experience in pipe fitting and welding for plumbing applications.
• Aerospace industry experience: Knowledge of welding requirements in the aerospace sector.
