Job Description

As a Chemical Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of catalyst equipment. Your expertise in chemical manufacturing processes will ensure efficient production and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Control and optimize the catalyst processing environment.
  • Identify and document any discrepancies in production processes.
  • Work alongside chemical engineers to improve product quality.
  • Monitor stock levels of chemicals and materials required for production.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive efficiency.
  • Implement safety measures in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in audits and compliance inspections.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry practices.
  • Provide support in equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Foster a culture of safety and teamwork within the production area.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chemical Equipment Operator or similar role
Technical Skills
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Proficiency
  • Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Knowledge
