Responsibilities

  • Participate in training programs and stay updated with industry regulations and advancements in train brake technology.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations related to train operation and safety.
  • Record and report any issues or incidents occurring during train journeys.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies, coordinating with the crew to execute safe braking procedures.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with braking systems and implement solutions.
  • Effectively handle multiple tasks during operations, maintaining focus and attention to detail.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Additional certifications related to train operations and safety preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work under pressure
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent
