Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plant and System Operator to join our operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the incineration process and ensuring that operations run smoothly while adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in waste management and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of waste incineration units, ensuring proper function and maximum efficiency.
• Monitor emissions to guarantee compliance with environmental standards.
• Foster a culture of safety within the operations team.
• Coordinate with local authorities and environmental agencies as needed.
• Conduct audits of waste management practices and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for waste management.
• Assist in the management of hazardous waste materials when required.

Requirements

Education

• Associate’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in waste management or incineration operations
