Road Freight Conductor

Job Description

We're seeking a Road Freight Conductor to manage the logistics of land transport. This position focuses on coordinating shipments, tracking their movement, and maintaining communication with clients to ensure optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the movement of freight by road.
• Ensure all shipments comply with safety and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for efficient logistics.
• Analyze delivery processes and suggest improvements.
• Utilize software systems for tracking deliveries and inventory.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance.
• Conduct training sessions for new staff on safety and compliance.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding shipments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation regulations.
• Manage freight costs by negotiating with carriers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred

Experience

• Experience with cross-border transportation is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
