Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain woodworking machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality wood products. You will collaborate with a skilled team, utilizing your expertise to optimize machine performance and maintain production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate woodworking machines for production runs.
  • Ensure the proper feeding and removal of materials in the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct inspections of machine output to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide training and support to junior operators and team members.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and perform minor repairs on machinery.
  • Maintain records of production data and machine performance metrics.
  • Work with the production team to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Enforce safety standards and recommend improvements to work practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies for machine operation.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in woodworking or related field
Technical Skills
  • Machine calibration and maintenance

Languages
  • English: Fluent
