Job Description
As a Hide Curer at LeatherCraft Inc., you will be instrumental in preparing animal hides for tanning and processing. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure the highest quality standards in leather production.
Responsibilities
Cure animal hides and skins using standard techniques.
Remove hair, dirt, and impurities from hides effectively.
Inspect and assess quality before and after the curing process.
Maintain and operate curing machinery and ensure proper maintenance.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean working environment.
Work collaboratively with the production team to innovate processes.
Train new team members on best practices in hide curing.
File reports on production metrics to improve workflow.
Participate in team meetings to contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in leather production is a plus
Experience
2-5 years of experience in hide curing or similar role
Technical Skills
Strong hand-eye coordination
Understanding of safety protocols
