Job Description

As a Hide Curer at LeatherCraft Inc., you will be instrumental in preparing animal hides for tanning and processing. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure the highest quality standards in leather production.

Responsibilities

  • Cure animal hides and skins using standard techniques.
  • Remove hair, dirt, and impurities from hides effectively.
  • Inspect and assess quality before and after the curing process.
  • Maintain and operate curing machinery and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to innovate processes.
  • Train new team members on best practices in hide curing.
  • File reports on production metrics to improve workflow.
  • Participate in team meetings to contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in leather production is a plus
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in hide curing or similar role
Technical Skills
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Understanding of safety protocols

Languages
