Responsibilities

• Research and implement improvements to existing plumbing systems.
• Take part in measuring and cutting pipes accurately.
• Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with state and local codes.
• Assist in the training of new employees and apprentices.
• Foster a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and tools.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in plumbing preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Plumbing installation procedures
• Knowledge of plumbing codes

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Time management

Certifications

• Additional plumbing certifications (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership or supervisory experience: Prior experience managing or training apprentices is a plus.
