Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Set-Key Driver to safely transport goods and materials across various locations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning your delivery routes, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining vehicle compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and secure delivery materials properly.
• Plan and execute delivery routes effectively.
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and ensure safety compliance.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate delays and changes to customers in a timely manner.
• Report and address any issues related to delivery incidents.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials following guidelines.
• Work with logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assess delivery schedules and adjust as necessary to improve efficiency.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in transportation/delivery driving.

Technical Skills

• Logistics management
• Vehicle maintenance

Certifications

• Hazardous Material Endorsement (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
