Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Hazardous Waste Management Control Engineer to lead hazardous waste management initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while developing strategies to reduce waste generation in our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the implementation of hazardous waste policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safe waste storage.
  • Analyze waste data and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop outreach and training materials for staff.
  • Work with regulatory bodies during inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate and select waste disposal vendors and services.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in waste management practices.
  • Investigate and resolve waste management-related incidents.
  • Prepare reports for management on waste activities and compliance status.
  • Network with industry professionals to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Professional certifications in hazardous waste management preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in waste management roles
